I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian from Brigham Young University, which was rated the #1 college-level Russian program in the country. I have two years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant for Russian professors at BYU. I have spent over two years in Russia. I scored "Superior" on the Russian Oral Proficiency Interview - computer (OPIc) and recieved a "Silver" rating on the 2019 ACTR National Post-Secondary Russian Essay Contest. In total, I have been studying Russian either independently or in university for over 5 years.

I love working with students of Russian. Russian is a hard language, so it can be discouraging at times to study it. The aspect I love most about tutoring is the opportunity to give encouragement and see real growth.
