I taught in Alaska for 23 years at the Middle School and High School levels. My expertise is in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and Geometry. I am available as a Weekly Tutor or a Daily Teacher. I pride my teaching style and methods to eliminate the apprehension that students may encounter. I share fundamentals and techniques which will bring skills useful in the higher levels of Math and Science.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It is important to determine the challenging areas of the Math. For me to know the learning topics of the present into the future so we can build confidence and enjoyment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught a wide spectrum of math and science. I enjoy and have high gratification leading students from Arithmetic into Pre-Algebra and beyond. Building the knowledge and confidence.

I ask for $25 / hour but am willing to agree upon a monthly rate to accommodate more availability.
