About
Teaching and helping others succeed has always been a passion of mine since the start of my journey in academia. I am a proud ASU alumnus who graduated with a perfect 4.0 in the College of Health Solutions as a premed student. I am now currently pursuing my master's degree in health care administration and medical research at Grand Canyon University.
During my time in high school and undergraduate school, I have always tutored students in subjects that were my passion, namely in the sciences. Seeing other people succeed as a partial consequence of my help further solidified my passion as someone who loves helping people which is why I am pursuing medicine as a career path.
I also have extensive experience in the healthcare workforce. During college up until now, I have shadowed and assisted a plethora of different specialists, from pulmonology, cardiology, oncology, and anesthesiology. Shortly after graduating ASU, I worked for half a year in the emergency department as a medical scribe. I then moved my expertise to the private practice setting and now work as a chief scribe for an oncology and hematology clinic with Honor Health.
Although my schedule can be busy at times, I am always willing to put aside time to help students learn most science-related subjects. I specialize in biology, cell biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, and genetics.
I enjoy the results that are seen in the students I teach with regard to test results and final class grades at the end of each semester.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically meet with students in person or over the phone via text message or phone call to understand what classes they need help with, what grade they are in, where they are going to school, how often they would like help, and what learning styles fit their needs best. I am very skilled at adjusting to any learning style of students so that they can learn most effieciently.
