Hi, I’m Luz — a bilingual artist, educator, and certified meditation facilitator based in Phoenix. I was born in Mexico and raised between cultures, and language and creativity have always been central to my life. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Writing, Rhetoric, and Literacies, and I have over ten years of experience working with students of all ages.

My classes combine art, language, and cultural exploration in a relaxed and engaging environment. Through drawing, painting, and hands-on creative projects, students naturally practice Spanish vocabulary and conversation while developing artistic skills and confidence.

I have worked extensively with homeschool families and am an approved vendor for the Arizona ESA program, and I enjoy creating lessons that support curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.

As a working artist, I bring a real-world creative perspective into my teaching. My goal is to help students feel inspired, expressive, and comfortable exploring both art and language together.

Classes are welcoming to beginners and designed to meet each student at their own level.
