Spanish Lessons With Kylie

Hello!

My name is Kylie Armstrong. I am 24 years old and I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I am very passionate about teaching and mentoring the youth, and I have many years of experience in doing this. I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Theatre and a Minor in Spanish. I have studied Spanish in school for 16 years, beginning in 6th grade and through the end of my time in college at NAU. While I was pursuing my Spanish minor in college, I interned at a Spanish Immersion Preschool called the ELLA Studio in Ahwatukee. Over this 3 month period I worked with the children in developing their Spanish skills through interactive exercises and various teaching techniques. In addition, I spent 6 weeks in Costa Rica in 2016, teaching English to preschool-aged children in an impoverished community. I love Spanish and I love teaching, so I am excited to be putting these two together in helping kids to develop their Spanish-speaking skills.
