1. I am a native Chinese speaker who is passionate about teaching Chinese and Chinese culture. My class will be student-centered, engaging and interactive. You will learn and have fun.
2. I am also a Chinese Mandarin Teacher in high school. I have been tutoring and teaching for 6 years.
3. I earned my Master in Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State University.
I LOVE teaching Chinese Mandarin either at school or tutoring. Seeing students make progress everyday and helping them achieve their goals are my biggest motivation and rewards.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Schedule a meeting to get to know them. For example, their learning needs, learning style, what do they already know and what they would like to learn, how often they would like to learn, their learning goals. Also, what helps them learn the most.
2. Then, I will make a learning plan and share with a new student and to check if that meets their needs.
3. Adjust the learning plan as students make progress.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in public high school since 2016. I started tutoring since 2013. I love teaching and I am passinate about teaching.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My most recent favorate event will be scuba diving. I also love camping, hiking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, travalling, cooking........I LOVE any activities outdoor.
