What I enjoy most about education is watching a childs growth in academics. All students learn at a different pace. Children will grow once they feel liked and are confident in the person teaching them.

Hello! So excited to meet you! I have always been curious and interested in personal learning. I attended a private prep school for the majority of my education and have consistently been a natural at English especially literature. I have worked as: -a tutor at a learning and literacy center -a paraprofessional for autistic children at an elementary school -a freelance tutor I would love to help boost self-confidence as well as assist in bridging learning gaps to ease frustration and stay on track.

My Name is Tyler Douglas and I am currently a senior at Grand Canyon University studying Behavioral Health Science with a minor in Forensic Psychology. I have always loved school and excelled in the classroom. I currently have a 3.6 GPA and am preparing to apply to graduate school next fall. I graduated from ASU in December 2018 with my teaching certificate. I became a sub in January 2019 until I was put into a class of my own. I taught 1st grade and grew up helping my younger sister through school. I have grown to be an emotional/moral support. I listen to my students and help them out in any way I can. I love working with students because I can see their faces light up when they finally understand what they didn't know before. I can help in any subjects from grades KG-8th grade. If I don't understand something, I do my own research to do my best in teaching. I appreciate feedback as I learn from it.
