What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My very first goal for working with new students is understanding prior knowledge and where they want to go with their Spanish. Once I understand what they already know, and their goal, I can customize lesson and unit plans according to their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a junior high school Spanish teacher with a bachelors in secondary Spanish education and an Arizona Teacher certificate.

First lesson is 25 dollars an hour and the following lessons are 30 dollars an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I was recommended the idea by my college counselor because of my people skills and knowledge of Spanish.

I have worked with adults, high school students, junior high students and elementary level students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a teacher, it is important that they personalize the lessons for you. They should get to know your personal goals and needs for learning Spanish.

They need to ask themselves how committed they are to learning.
