What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically spend some time talking with my student's adults to understand the cihld's strength and challenges. Then I spend ten to fifteen minutes getting to know my student. I use a lot of hands-on manipulatives when working with my students, whether that is with phonics, reading, or math.
