Math Tutoring

About

Hi everyone! I have just started tutoring services. I used to tutor Basic Math and English to children of low-income families for free and I had a lot of fun teaching them the basics! I am proficient in Basic Math, algebra, geometry, and some high-school calculus! I am currently working towards my airline pilot licensure and a Bachelors of science in Business Management.

I love spreading knowledge. I used to struggle immensely with the basic fundamentals of math and after a lot of sleepless nights in school and studying, it all finally clicked! I love helping students have their clicking moment and see all their effort come to fruition!

Frequently asked questions

I like to meet with the student and figure out what they need help with. I like to discuss the best way they think they learn, be it visually, practically, or textbooks, and I try to incorporate that in my teaching. I do not believe in forcing a student or using harsh teaching methods. The subject can take time to understand and patience is truly a virtue!

I worked as a volunteer tutor for children from low-income households, helping them with their math and English homework and teaching them the basics of both. I am currently working towards my airline pilot licensure and a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. I have completed college calculus and AP Calculus AB in high-school. I am proficient in basic math, algebra, geometry and high-school mathematics.

I used to tutor my younger cousins and moved on to tutoring as a volunteer.

I have worked with students aged 5 all the way to 17. They have ranged from students needed minor help in algebraic equations to those who needed a complete start over.

I would encourage the student to make sure they find a tutor who they are comfortable with and who takes the time, patience, and effort to understand the student and help them in every way possible without making the student doubt their own abilities.

Students should make a list on exactly what they feel they need help with and go from there. They should never feel embarrassed about asking for help.
