Right out of high school, so I can help with most high school courses and teach what is necessary in order for students to understand. I prioritize students understanding topics prior to doing practice questions. I really enjoy chemistry and biology, so I can help any level up to AP Biology to students. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start with assessing what the student wants to achieve in the course (letter grade, what level of understanding, etc). I set the pace of tutoring according to what the student needs after understanding the current student's performance in the class.
