Sarah's Science Tutoring
About
I have graduated high school on honor roll, earning my diploma in 2019. I am a very patient person, and am experienced in helping children with learning and developmental disorders. I sympathize with my students when they are struggling and make accommodations for my students who need it most. I want to see my students succeed first and foremost, and will do everything in my abilities to make sure they do.
What I enjoy most about my work is being able to help kids succeed academically and seeing the positive impact it has on their life. To see them be able to have joy in their accomplishments is what makes my job so rewarding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with any new student is getting to know them and the learning style they prefer. I can accommodate for all types of learners, including visual, verbal, and written learners. When I know the way my student can best learn, I can use the appropriate tools to help them succeed. I stay patient with my students and encourage them throughout the tutoring sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have graduated high school on honor roll, receiving my high school diploma in May of 2019. I especially excelled in biology during high school, which I finished with an A grade. I have experience helping others with biology, mostly in the form of working with friends who did not understand the material as well as I did.
