What I enjoy most about education is watching a childs growth in academics. All students learn at a different pace. Children will grow once they feel liked and are confident in the person teaching them.

I taught grades one to 3 for 35 years. I was especially proficient in reading and English skills, including writing. I have also tutored 4th graders and can work with older students as well. I love everything about language and I love working with kids!

I'm a retired teacher. I work with kids for over 25 years and have raised two children of my own. I am a grade school teacher and have experience in special education as well. I love kids and kids love me. Looking forward to meeting you.

I graduated from ASU in December 2018 with my teaching certificate. I became a sub in January 2019 until I was put into a class of my own. I taught 1st grade and grew up helping my younger sister through school. I have grown to be an emotional/moral support. I listen to my students and help them out in any way I can. I love working with students because I can see their faces light up when they finally understand what they didn't know before. I can help in any subjects from grades KG-8th grade. If I don't understand something, I do my own research to do my best in teaching. I appreciate feedback as I learn from it.

I am a graduate from the University of Central Florida, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Industrial Engineering program with a minor in Mathematics. I have taught students from elementary to college level over the past few years. I am enthusiastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning! My name is Amelia, and I am currently a high school student. I have quite a bit of experience working with kids, as I am a swim instructor as well as an after school reading program assistant with Read Better Be Better.
