I have four years of experience teaching and tutoring history, Spanish, English, test prep, and writing, including two years of experience as a full time classroom instructor. I am a professional mechanical engineer who graduated with a master's from ASU. I loved every bit of learning I did up to here. And teaching allows me to revisit it. My approach is simple. I try to figure out the student's weakness concerning the concept he/she is trying to learn and help them overcome it. Once they gain confidence they will follow their class and start acing their tests.

I am a New York State certified teacher of Spanish 7-12, and English to Speakers of other languages K-12. I also work with adults on obtaining their GED diplomas. I enjoy working with students to improve their social and academic speaking skills. My experience has been that students need more opportunities to speak out loud in a variety of settings and situations, both in academic and social contexts. I engage students in discovering and using their own knowledge and skills to improve their weaker areas. I am an enthusiastic learner and I enjoy meeting and working with people of all language and cultural backgrounds.
