Kate Crandell

I am a senior in high school and I have had the privilege of having lots of experience with the piano, the Spanish language, and the violin.

I’ve played the piano for 12 years and counting. In this time I’ve learned how to not just play the notes on the page, but how play the instrument to its fullest capacity. I’ve done this through countless hours spend learning the technique and theory of the piano. It is because of this that I’ve received numerous awards and recognition for the pieces I’ve played.

I’m also specialized in Spanish. I’ve had the privilege of taking Spanish all four years while in high school. Ive maintained good grades and have learned to love the language as I spend more and more time practicing it.

Finally, I am specialized in the violin. I’ve played the violin for 7 years. In this time I’ve played in high school orchestras at the highest level and even qualifying for competitive orchestras in my area outside of school. I had experience teaching the violin, helping students from a beginning level progress to become better acquainted with their instrument.
