Diana Levi

I am an Arizona State Graduate with a Materials Science Degree with a focus on Sustainability. I have tutored through Kumon during high school and independently throughout college. I am teaching a wide berth of subjects from math and science to literature or rhetoric, having taken a dozen of the CollegeBoard AP exams and both the SAT and ACT college entrance tests. Teaching is one of my favorite things in the world; I love patiently working through problems and helping willing (or unwilling) learners understand concepts in their language, on their terms. My methods may seem unconventional, but that's because everyone learns differently, and it's more important to me to nurture the passion for learning than improving test scores immediately. You can't rush growth, after all. I am also a prolific musician, and offer lessons of various skill levels in piano, guitar, bass, or voice.
