Chelsea Hough

Hello! I am a patient, reliable, and creative tutor who loves teaching and working with children! Most of my experience is with young children, although I am also comfortable working with older students, as well. I have a 120-hour TEFL certificate and just recently returned from teaching English as a Second Language in South Korea where I taught 5 year olds English with a focus in Phonics, reading, and handwriting. My class size was 9 students so I am able to adapt to many different learning styles to ensure each child learns in a way that makes sense for them. I also have a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and previously worked as a marketing professional and copywriter before pursuing a career as an ESL teacher.

My goal with every student is to help them feel confident in their English, reading, and writing skills. I will take the time to help them reach their goals according to their learning style to ensure they get the most out of our lessons.
