Overall Subject Tutoring

I go to the University of Nevada Reno and graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Fall 2020 with a 3.8 GPA. I have always loved school and believe education is one of the most important things you can do in life. I plan on going onto masters and possibly Ph.D. in the future.

I have been helping/tutoring kids since I was in 6th grade Id often give up my recesses to work with students that needed extra help. In High school, I then realized how much I love helping kids and started tutoring after school for my neighbors and friends' families. I tutored all subjects including history, math, English, social studies, and writing/comprehension, and more. Working with kids that ranged from kindergarten through seniors in high school has really helped me develop strategies to help different learners comprehend the material.

I love working with kids, they have curiosity and imagination like no other. I think they inspire me as much as I can inspire them. Helping kids in subjects they struggle with and seeing them get better or actually get excited to try problems is the best feeling.

Every student has different ways they learn and finding the best strategy to suit their strengths and build on their weaknesses. Giving students the building blocks to build a foundation for learning so they may continue to grow throughout their schooling is important. This will help them gain confidence in their studies and pursue any educational path they wish in the future.
