College Level Science Tutoring

I am currently a senior at Northern Arizona University studying Biomedical Sciences, and work as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for the Chemistry department. This position allows me to hold 4 weekly sessions to help improve students in the General Chemistry course that I support. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students both in person as well as online. I can not only help you with the course you might be struggling with, but I also feel I can give great advice for the road ahead with high school and/or college!

I love seeing the light bulb that goes off when students recognize that they understand the material in front of them. Also, it's amazing to see students grow not only in the classroom, but outside of it as well! Over my three years of working as a supplemental instruction leader, I have seen so many students grow to work in laboratories, become supplemental instruction leaders themselves, and overall achieve their personal academic and professional goals. I enjoy seeing students succeed, and I hope that I can help get them to that point!
