Max At SoFlo SAT Tutors - Online Tutoring Only

Hi, my name is Max, and I love working with students! Fun fact: I once ran a mile in 4:20 exactly. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a personal level, as well as with students, I am a very enthusiastic type of person, and I'm very outdoorsy.

I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in the SAT and ACT through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I scored in the top percentile on both exams, graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Political Science, and have been tutoring with SoFlo for 3 years. With SoFlo, we follow a model of assessment, strategy, and practice. Your student will take a free diagnostic test first so that we can identify their needs. Next, we will create a plan to address those needs so that we can improve your student’s overall scores. Finally, we will practice using real exams and test questions to prepare them to take the official test.
