About
I just recently graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and Minor in Chemistry. I am currently studying for the MCAT and applying to medical schools. I have plenty of experience in sciences such as biology and chemistry. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For my first session with a new student, I will start with introductions and get to know eachother. Then I will start to figure out what they need help with either by asking or quizzing them on information and evaluating where the difficulty is coming from. I plan to look over practice questions from their class with them along with creating new ones for them to try. Depending how their learning style is, I will fix this style for next sessions if it was not well fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am very qualified in biology and chemistry, I have a degree in biomedical sciences and minor in chemisry. I am very good with children as I have coached children in sports and fitness classes. I am the oldest of 4 in my family so I have learned how to work with people at different ages and learning styles. I am very patient and can explain things in ways others can be understand at any educational level.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a tutor that will be patient and have knowledge in the field of interest. I have had many tutors in the past not flexible for different learning styles, so find a tutor that is able to adjust to your learning styles.
