Hi: I'm Katharine, and I work as faculty at the University of Arkansas. I have more than one advanced degree, but I also have a considerable knowledge base and experience teaching all ages. I regularly teach graduate courses at Pratt Institute in New York City (online). I'm patient and excited about all kinds of subject areas. I look forward to working with you toward your goals. I have been working professionally in education for 13 years. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s of Science in Reading, and a Master’s of Science in Special Education Instruction. In Arkansas I am certified to teach K-8th grade in all 4 core subjects, ESOL for K-12, and Special Education for K-12. I am also trained in multiple intervention programs. I had to leave the classroom to take care of family but I still want to do what I love, which is help students and families.
