What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will ask my students questions about what they are struggling with and what types of questions seem are giving them trouble. From there, I will put together questions and problems to work through with the student. Then, I will ask the student to work a similar problem and show me there work. I will critique their work, praising what is done well and pointing out areas where improvement can be made.
