Hello! I’m an educator with 16 years of experience in education! I love teaching and learning! I’ve taught many grades from pk-4th and worked small group interventions with k-12. I am a certified educator in pk-4th grade early childhood education, k-12 ESOL (working with students who their first language isn’t English), k-8 Special Education and certification for pk-12 principal. I was a classroom teacher for 7 years, then left the classroom to become a specialist. I have been an Academic intervention specialist, Reading/Dyslexia specialist and currently an ESOL intervention specialist. I love working with students to support the areas they may have missed and seeing the “aha” moments. Quite often it was a misinterpretation in their learning and they may hear it a different way and understand it to correct their deficits. My goal ultimately is for the student to comprehend what they need support with but to understand it with pleasure, knowing that learning is fun and that will cause it to be more personable and become a “sticky substance!”
