About
I am a certified teacher currently working as a 3rd grade teacher. After I recieved my bachelor's degree in social studies eduation from Arkansas State University in 2013, I went on to teach ESL in the Czech Republic and then South Korea. After I returned to the US I went on to get my master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have experience teaching students of a large range of ages, from preschool age to adults.
I love helping students discover new information and improve their skills. It is very rewarding to help guide students who are struggling with academic material and then see them expand their abilities.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know them, learn their hobbies and their preferred way of learning. For instance, if they need things to be more visual or with some physical activity mixed in. I then discuss what their goals might be for the tutoring.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students with special needs and English learners. I worked with students of a wide range of ages, from toddlers learning to speak to college students preparing for exams.
