I'm a pharmacy student at UAMS, and I have a B.S. in microbiology and molecular genetics. I have 3+ years in research including determining the co-infection rates of chlamydia and trichomoniasis, pre-clinical drug trials, and determining antibiotic resistance to microbes isolated from cystic fibrosis patient's lungs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to ask the student to explain the topic to me, so I know their level of understanding. From there, I can help them build on their current knowledge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bacchelor's of science from Oklahoma State University in microbiology and molecular genetics and am a current pharmacy student.

Flat rate of $20/hr.

I first started tutoring at Oklahoma State University.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with everyone from high school students to nursing school students. I have most experience tutoring general chemistry and biochemistry.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I recommend that all students look for the free resources at their disposal, such as talking to their teacher/professor and seeing if their school offers free tutoring. Too many students are afraid of asking for help that they're missing amazing resources their tuition is already paying for.
