Hello! My name is Isabella, and I'm a University of Arkansas student majoring in data science in the honors program. I started formally tutoring in my senior year of high school, specializing in math through calculus, chemistry, and English. I have a 4.0 GPA and a 35 ACT. Using my own experience preparing for the ACT, standardized test prep is a particularly enjoyable subject for me to tutor. My goal is to present material in an engaging, hands-on way that makes the content both more approachable and more memorable. I also like to take into account a student's personal learning style, as this will massively impact how they best absorb mater

As a Public School teacher for over 20 years, I have lots of experience helping students in all areas. I have taught Math and Science in grades 5-8 and have taught Sp. Ed math also. I am a strong mathematician through Algebra and Geometry. Have curriculum knowledge of Science standards for grades 5-8. And I have experience getting kids through standardized tests, usually increasing ACT scores by 2-3 pts and SAT scores by around 100 pts.

I'm currently a junior at the University of Arkansas and I'm studying Environmental Soil and Water Science. I have two associate degrees, one in STEM, another in Natural Resources. Hello! I am an electrical engineering student at the University of Arkansas! I am one of those people that actually enjoy math and the world it opens you up to; however, I wasn’t always this way. I used to have the same outlook on math that most teenagers have, it even used to be my least favorite subject. What changed? Well for one I had to make that conscious decision to try and apply myself, but another big reason is that I had a good teacher. I not only will give your child the chance to learn, but will strive to get them to enjoy learning also.
