Creative Craft

Hello there!

I'm a non-traditional college student who can usually be found roaming campus with a smile on my face and a coffee cup in one hand while the other waves to the many students and faculty I have adventured with so far. Because the time I spent between high school and college was longer than usual, I poured a lot of energy into researching the different ways people learn and how to keep it fresh and interesting.

I maintain above a 3.5 GPA, while staying heavily involved on my campus and in my community. I am the student body Secretary of my college, President of the debate team, and Vice President of the Honors Students Association at the Honors College. I am curious like a cat, so I choose as many different topics as I can reasonably get away with when I pick my classes.

Let me share what I've learned with you!

I love helping people learn, so my favorite is that moment of reaction when someone I'm working with really begins to fully understand whatever subject we're working on. Sometimes I see a wash of relief before they move through satisfaction and their chest begins to swell at their mastery. The excitement is contagious, and I am always happy to join in with exclamations of pride and a little victory dance.
