My name is Melissa Carter and I've been working in the field of education for more than 25 years. I have a BSE , MSE in Special Education and a Structured Literacy Teacher certification from the International Dyslexia Association. I am also certified in Orton-Gillingham. My experience in education includes working as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and private tutoring. During the summer I travel around the country and train teachers in IMSE’s OG methodology.

I have a passion for working with students with reading difficulties. I have seen tremendous results using the OG strategies.
