Q’s Tutoring
About
I am young, but I have experience.
I specialize in helping students in English, History, and basic Math. I have been professionally trained to teach these subjects and also have 10+ years of experience of running cross country and voice/piano training; the last two years of that time include instructing my own students as well. I am a CTA (certified teacher's assistant) as well as a paraprofessional. My classroom teaching experience includes 7th grade English, 12th grade ESL World History, AP Humanities, and 6th grade Math. I have run countless 5ks, 10ks, and a few half-marathons, and I made Varsity All-Region multiple times during high school.
I want to help prepare students for a bright acedemic future and give them the tools they need to succeed and fulfill their dreams.
Side note: I am also CPR certified and a RMA (registered medical assistant).

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First is a short a assessment or discussion to figure out where they are in their learning and then identifying areas in need of growth and strengthening. Then we would learn together what the student's learning type is and use that knowledge to design the perfect tutoring/ practice method.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a paraprofessional and have taken the exam this year. I am also a Certified Teacher Assistant and have 3+ years of experience teaching in the classroom. I also passed all of my teaching orientation classes at the top of my class.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate is $20 an hour but it's raise to $21 for any traveling I have to do outside of the Bentonville/Centerton area.
