As a college student, I can more easily relate to teenagers, and that enables me to explain math concepts in ways that may be more understandable. I also try to build good relationships with my students, because it is my belief that a good relationship is very beneficial to the students overall success. I started tutoring as a senior in highschool. Due to my advanced curiculum, I was able to help students in many different grade levels. I worked with both middle and high school students taking classes ranging from Sixth-Grade Math to Trigonometry and Precalculus.

I greatly enjoy being around children, and plan to be a special needs teacher when I am older. I grew up in Tennessee and I have been tutoring off and on over the past 10 years. I have experience tutoring elementary, middle school and high school math, math and science ACT prep, macroeconomics and microeconomics and high school and intro college level.
