Cecilia Johnson- Tutor

I’m Cecilia Johnson, a teacher with 30+ years of experience.

I enjoy reading and writing, and I thoroughly enjoy leading my students to discover literature and their own voices. I’ve taught Gifted Education ( grades 2-6), eighth grade language arts, and writing narrative, expository, and persuasive styles in my career in Alabama and Maryland.

In my classes, I lead the student to understand that writing is thinking on paper. Understanding the organization possibilities of a style promotes confidence and structure in transferring thoughts to sentences.
