Algebra Tutoring Class
About
I often think about dreading my honors algebra clases- and failing them. During my junior year I relaized that im actually really good at math and great at helping my friends! I realized that math works if you do. Math will teach you many valuable life skills, that i see, needed when you go out into the world looking for work. My knowing of this inspires me to help students see this and push them to give their best shot toward sucess. Not only with math, but with anything that they do in life. The saying goes: Anything is better than nothing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First i like to get familiar with vocabulary and what our question states. Next we'll simplify this question by taking the information needed. We'll use the formula if needed and go through the question step by step- explaining those weird ones and why we need to do them!'
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High School. Seriously! I know exactly what it's like to struggle in math and I think that is my strongest attribute. I know how hard it is to where i can simplify it all so that others can understand it.
