About
I enjoy tutoring the most when my students see a difference in their grades and my tutoring has actually helped them understand more.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically try to gauge my students current understanding of the subject and start in a place they fully understand so it's less confusing for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have previous experience tutoring students from 6th grade - Sophmore College students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing is $11 per hour of tutoring, breaks and interuptions are not included in the time so you will only pay for active tutoring.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started tutoring in high school through a school led program. After that, I tutored in college as a favor to my classmates.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from all levels of education k-12 and up to sophomore year college students on an informal basis.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that explains your work the way you need to understand. A tutor that teaches visually won't be as effective for someone who learns through experience.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
When did you get confused?
What was the last point or problem that you understood enough to explain to someone else?
