Dear parents & students;
I am a Psychologist from Colombia; I finish a Mater degree in Education in Florida. I worked for too many years helping children and adults with behavioral difficulties. At this moment I have interest in work helping people to develop skills and abilities in a Spanish as a second language. I can use the experience I have teaching new behavior skills, and the Spanish language fluency.
Having now relocated to the Birmingham area, I am excited to put my experience and credentials to work for the benefit of a students. Time and instruction management, pronunciation and grammar instruction, strong communication and interpersonal skills are just a few of my areas of qualifications; additionally, I have honed my communication, creativity, and motivational skills. My inherent passion for fostering collaborative and exciting educational environments has successfully encouraged and developed productive, thoughtful, and accomplished students.

It is important to note that learners cannot master Spanish grammar, vocabulary and phrases through simple repetition. Instead, I need to utilize interactive exercises to help students learn Spanish long-term.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is important found a teacher that must model strong character traits, such as perseverance, honesty, respect, lawfulness, patience, fairness, responsibility and unity. As a teacher , they must treat every student with kindness, equality and respect.
