Hello! My name is Philip Hyde and I am excited to help students who are struggling in their Math or Physics classes. I am a recent graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Physics and a minor in Mathematics. I am new to tutoring but am fresh out of college and eager to leave a positive impact on my community and make a name for myself in the process. I have several years of experience with high level Math and Physics courses and would consider myself a master of the basics. My approach to tutoring will be through a programming language called Python. My goal is not to teach a student Python (although I am not opposed should the student be interested) but to leverage Python's capabilities to help students visualize the concepts in real time. At the end of the day, I hope to ignite a passion for Math and Physics that is lost to many students nowadays and provide tangible results for teachers and parents to be proud of!
