Susan Hansen

In addition to being a certified Alabama teacher with a Master’s in secondary social studies, I have had numerous years working with students in a variety of situations, including homeschooling, academic support and ESL classes. My focus is reading and writing development. I use the Orton Gillingham approach in developing a reading program in collaboration with the parents’ goals and the student’s interest. I’m also a mom to 4 boys and have used them as test subjects for my teaching methods. I love working with students and look forward to meeting new families.
