I help tutor kids on the subject of science. I have been doing this for years. I enjoy creating a supportive direction to learning and inspire curiosity. I enjoy to make learning a fun process. We are constantly learning anyway, even when we are not doing something routine. I tutor by to sharing the enthusiasm for the wonders of the world that is right under our noses aka homework. I have experience teaching many different subjects and personally train people athletically.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with introductions to find out what kind of teaching method works for a new student. Inhabe them explain their problems and see if they can identify what it is that they need to figure out. I feel it is important to encourage and inspire the desire to seek out their own answers or study the methodology behind what is being taught. I guide and support stundents with their work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an educator on many topics throughout my life. I have been a Rock Climbing Instructor, Personal Trainer, 6th grade Teacher of every subject, Substitute Teacher of every grade, and now I am a Certified Aerial Instructor. I have 20 years of experience teaching in different fields.
How did you get started teaching?
I moved to Alaska and started out teaching at a private school right out of college.
