I teach students how to think about each problem so that what they learn is transferable. I approach each problem like a fun puzzle. I tutored fellow students throughout high school and college, and then for several years afterward. I tutored both my children throughout their school years, and they still call me from college! The sense of accomplishment when a new concept is learned.

I'm a current undergraduate mathematics major, and I am passionate about the inner workings of this subject. I work collaboratively with my classmates and have helped many of them with algebra and calculus questions they have had on our many late nights staying up doing homework. The most important part of mathematics is that it is a subject that benefits from collaboration and working with others, and I wish to provide students by being another resource to approach mathematics problems, and to work with students to work carefully through problems to understanding concepts.

I want my students to thrive not only in school but also in life in general. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten to seniors in high school. Whatever they get through, I am willing to get through it with them, helping them to have a breakthrough!
