Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by conducting an assessment to diagnose where the student's math level is currently. Based on those results, we the create a custom learning plan for that student and cover at each session until complete and issue a post-assessment. We can now see in detail where the progres has been made and level up to next aseessment and learning plan thus closing gaps and catching the student back up on any gaps up to current grade level math and beyond. We also include homework help at every session including test prep.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All instructors have been tested to ensure they meet our math knowledge criteria. We then continue ongoing training in Mathnasium constructs and methods. All instructors have verified math backgrounds.
