About
My service stands out because I go above and beyond for my students. I give them my 101% best not only because they paid for my service and need to get quality service for their money. But also because they believe me enough to entrust some part of their learning to me, so I do my best to go beyond their expectations.
I am very conscious of my grades so, I am passionate about being a helping hand to students who truly strive to improve their grades and become a better person.
I have been tutoring ever since I was in primary school. This started with wanting to help my friends become better students and improve their grades. My grades were great but my friends' grades were not. So, I drew out the best plan I could think of to help everyone. I shared my concern with my 8 other friends, and I offered to them how I hoped to help them improve their grades. The idea was to meet for an hour after school everyday so that I can share my strategies for learning/studying with them. They agreed to this and by the end of the year, all of my friends moved up to the top 15 in class, while I continued to keep my first place position in class.
I gained some respect from my friends of course, and from many of my professors. However, I got some hate from other smart kids who forgot that they always have to be on top of their game. But, everything that these kids did kept my friends and I motivated to become even better students.
I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to bring the best out of my students. It allows me to be a helping hand to students who, infact, have something in them but need someone to help them up to the stage where they can trust themselves and do things confidently on their own. It is a great way to impact others and that makes my existence worthwhile. It means I will be leaving a mark here on earth when I leave.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work on knowing my students on a personal level by asking them a lot of questions, as necessary and appropriate. That way, I am able to understand the student's need and then come up with a plan that works best for each student. A plan designed solely towards the student's success.
