I am a Social Worker at heart. I love to help people help themselves. After graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminology and Psychology from Florida State University in 2002, I began a career as a social and human services advocate and I've been at it ever since.

Unlike most, I have not only provided professional and voluntary services but also received services due to the sudden onset of illness.

A thorough comprehension of obstacles and empathetic patience are the results of experiences on both sides of the desk.

I am a member of the National Tutoring Association.

I love helping people help themselves. I have mastered the skill of active listening and I use this skill, and productive empathy, to determine how I can empower students.
