Fun fact: I love traveling! Hi, my name is Sofia. I love working with students. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, and with students, I am a patient and nerdy type of person.

I partner with students and focus on STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Computer Engineering and have been tutoring with SoFlo since two years ago, though I've worked with plenty of students even before then! Math and Science build sequentially, so what I do is identify a student's needs and then focus on them! At SoFlo, we want to raise grades, strengthen understanding, and increase confidence. In the long-term, we hope to work ourselves out of a job by helping your student reach their fullest potential!
